If there is a problem in internet connection like slow internet or absence of internet, Google Maps will automatically use the offline maps for giving you the directions. Now, you can get the directions and see all the routes, you can use navigation and also search for the locations where you want to go.

There is one thing that you need to know and that is you will be getting driving directions only in offline Google Maps app. You will not get transit, walking or bicycling directions. In the directions for driving, there will be no information present related to the traffic, Guidance’s or different lanes or alternate routes for the traffic ridden route. With all these things, you cannot modify the routes also like avoiding ferries or tolls. But all these things are not so important because you will definitely need guidance for getting to a destination, especially when there can be a problem in the internet connection and you will definitely not want to face that problem, right?
